Youth Panel for Transport
Jul 2026
Young Voices. Bold Ideas. One Shared Journey.
More than just commuters, they're students, young professionals, community leaders and changemakers.
As part of the Land Transport Master Plan (LTMP) Refresh, around 30 youths from diverse backgrounds came together for the first Youth Panel for Transport kick-off session, united by a shared goal, to help shape the future of transport in Singapore.

A Journey Begins
The kick-off session marked the official start of the Youth Panel for Transport journey where members will explore real transport challenges, exchange ideas and co-create solutions alongside LTA.
Through interactive activities and discussions, members got to know one another, learnt more about the LTMP Refresh, and discovered how their ideas can contribute to shaping Singapore's transport future.

Four Challenges. One Shared Goal.
Over the coming months, the Youth Panel will tackle four key challenge statements inspired by the aspirations shared by Singaporeans during our public engagement efforts.
🚆 Supporting Changing Mobility Needs
How can we better support people as their transport needs evolve through different stages of life—from school and work to starting a family and beyond?
🌤️ Making Every Journey More Comfortable
How might we create journeys that are more comfortable and pleasant, especially as Singapore adapts to a changing climate?
📱 Harnessing Technology for Better Journeys
How can technology make transport more convenient, reliable and easier for everyone to navigate?
❤️ Building a Kinder Transport Culture
How might we foster a more gracious commuter culture and strengthen community pride in our public transport system?
The Journey Is Just Beginning
This is just the beginning. Over the coming months, Youth Panel members will refine their ideas, engage their peers and help shape the future of transport in Singapore. Stay tuned for updates about the Youth Panel!
